Satisfy your need for hot water and saving energy through your whole house with Marey's 3.1 GPM Natural Gas Tankless Water Heater. Save bundles off electricity bills and add that to the water saving functions of a tankless heater and you have the perfect green solution for your home. So why not use your current natural gas installation and install a tankless water heater that can handle a whole house? It doesn't even use electricity to start, just replaceable D cell batteries. Just like most Marey Heaters it lets you adjust water activation flow and the amount of heat for maximum comfort. Although it's recommended that a professional installation is done, it's easy to install and comes with instructions on how to do it. Last but not least, it includes an industry leading 5 year warranty. Not that you'll need it, after all Marey has been making tankless water heaters for over 55 years.

I bought the heater and it shipped the next day, service from this vendor was excellent.
When the unit arrived I found the instructions to be well written and easily followed.
The unit has brackets top and bottom to fasten it to a wall, appropriate hardware for that purpose is included in the package.
However, once in place and connected I found some issues.
The unit has three control knobs. The first controls how high the heat range will be.
The second controls whether the season is summer or winter. Since water entering the unit in the winter would be colder than in the summer tha control is supposed to set the flame level higher for winter use.
The last knob controls the water flow through the unit.
The idea is to balance the flow against the temperature desired. That is a bit tricky since the greater the flow, the higher the heat setting must be to have water, at the same temperature, come out of the heater.
The issues I have began with the second knob. The heater I bought had no digital display, I did not need one. In place of that display there is a small slit that allows one to look directly at the burners.
When I set the knob to Winter use the flames were lowered, and the opposite happened when I set it to Summer use, the flames increased. That is backwards from what one would believe should be taking place. I believe that the switch is wired backwards.
Secondly, for some reason, for several days if the flow knob were set at anything but the absolutely lowest setting, the unit would not light off. Over time that changed, and it now seems to be lighting correctly.
One should be aware that the lowest setting is barely a trickle, while the high setting is a torrent, so the system does provide for a large latitude of settings.
I am using it at a low setting, both for flow as well as heat, and the water is very hot! So it does heat the water well. However I am using it alone, were others to also demand hot water from other taps at the same time, the temperature would drop dramatically.
I have tried to get some help with the issues I have but the factory has not called me back in a week so far after I placed three calls.
Furthermore the vendor only refers me to the manufacturer. The unit is made in China and the manufacturer is located in Puerto Rico, so there is little recourse other than to wait.
The warranty is for five years, but only for parts, labor is only covered for the first year. Frankly, if the unit were bad, and it had to be sent back (at the owners expense) then one would be without hot water for several weeks, so I find it rather worthless. They have no local agents to service their units.
Overall it may be a good unit, time will tell. Since I have no fuel bills yet for the time period that it has been in use (only a few days now) I cannot comment regarding fuel usage.
Overall I have to say that the installation was easy, the operation simple and the result hot.
The down sides are a long adjustment period, vastly fluctuating temperatures from different fawcets if more than one is used, and seemingy incorrect wiring.
Were I to know when buying the unit what I know now, because of the low price alone I would buy it again. But if price were not I consideration I would not.
